I've been tracing my ancestors and those of my wife for nearly twenty years, and this site is an effort to share my findings with family members and others who may be interested. The people listed here are a fraction of the entries in my genealogy program, The Master Genealogist (TMG). For reasons that should be self-evident, I've not named any minor children here. Information about all living persons is limited, to respect their privacy. I've also chosen to omit distant relatives in certain lines because I have very limited information about them. Lastly, I've omitted some individuals and lines because I'm not yet convinced, based on the evidence that I've seen, that a link has been demonstrated.

What's New (Press the "Changes" tab for details)

February 2012: After a period of inactivity, I've begun some data clean-up and have focussed on my Long Island lines.

November 2011: The Blount line is now included, making a small foray into the 13th century.

August 2011: I added a page featuring tombstones and memorials, for those interested in such things. The Ludlow line is now extended to the 14th century.

June/July 2011: I've attempted to include all of the Joppini/Ioppini line who immigrated to the United States, and their adult offspring. I still have a few of that surname for whom I cannot establish a link to others on the site. As always, I welcome your additions and corrections.

April 2011: Added information on my Long Island forbears. I also located the gravesite of my great-grandmonther, Catherine Hayes Clear.

January 2011: Migration to a new computer and operating system lost many of the links to exhibits that I'd established previously, and I hope I've restored most of them. Let me know if you notice anything missing. A recent upgrade to my webpage writer, Second Site, has provided additonal descendant and ancestor chart options, so you can follow the specific line you're interested in more easily. I've begun to develop charts that utilize these options -- go to the "Charts" page and try them out. Lastly, I've added a page ("Changes") that shows what individual's information I've been working on lately.

December 2010: I've added more information about my 17th century Long Island ancestors, particularly Gardiner, Ludlow and Parshall. I expanded the information about my great-grandmother Browne's family.

November 2010: Major additions to the McNicoll family line (back to Scotland) were made, after I identitfied Marilyn's great great grandfather. A legend page was added. Many changes were made to my Goldsmith line and Goldsmith spouse lines (Eddy,  Wines and Vail, in particular).
